A walk with the Llamas is not enough! Well lets go for a walk on the north moors of Dartmoor and stay out over night for a wild camp. You'd be forgiven for thinking you've woken up the following morning on the Alto Plano of Peru or Bolivia.

Suitable for most fitness levels and ages. Sorry no children under 8

Walking 3 to 4 miles both ways in remote, wild moorland areas of Dartmoor

Some Backpacking experience is useful, but not essential

Adults £85  1 accompanied child (8- 14) per paying adult- Free of charge, additional child (8-14) £35

Dogs not permitted

          

What we are offering is a Backpacking style trip with Llamas, which means you have to carry your own gear and food to be self sufficient and comfortable for a overnight trip. We're happy to offer advice on appropriate equipment and clothing.

The Llamas walk at slow steady pace over varied terrain including tracks, paths, some off trail walking through rough grass, heather and boulders plus the odd river crossing! The routes do include some short ascents up hill to reach Tors.

    

 

Please note that whilst our Llamas are young and learning their trade they are not able to carry a working load. Pack Llamas need to be at least 4 years old to do this. If you want to know more about Llama Packing please click on the link in the menu.
